To
reserve the cottage, the client should complete and sign one of
the booking forms on this web site and return it to the Owners
with the non-returnable deposit for 15% of the rental price for
the rental period requested. Once received by the owners,
confirmation will be sent in writing confirming the booking. To
check availability please either e-mail the booking form, send us
an e-mail or telephone ( from outside of France ) 00 33 2 96 95 04
43. When availability is confirmed please complete the booking
form and return it to us with the deposit to Kermarie, 22260
Plouec-du-Trieux, Cotes D'Armor, France. Please make cheques
payable to Linda Turner. |

The
balance of the rental, plus the security deposit is payable not
less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period. If the
balance is not received within the stated period the owners will
contact the guest by e-mail of telephone to advise them
accordingly. Whatever the outcome of such contact the Owners
reserve the right to give notice in writing that the reservation
is cancelled. |

Reservations
made within 8 weeks of commencement of the rental require full
payment at the time of booking. |
| 4 |
A
security deposit of £200 (Two hundred pounds) for each rental
period is required when full payment is made for any damage caused
to the Owners property or contents. However, the sum reserved by
this clause shall not limit the guest’s liability to the Owners.
The Owners will account to the guest for the security deposit and
refund the balance due within 1 week of the end of the rental
period. |

The
rental period shall commence at 4.00pm on the first day and finish
at 10.00am on the last day. |
| 6 |
Between
October and May the first 40 units (40 Kilowatts) of electricity
are free, after which the electricity is chargeable by meter
reading at the standard rate set by EDF of 11 centimes per unit
peak and 5.6 centimes per unit off peak. The meter readings will
be taken at the beginning of the rental period and a copy left in
the cottage. Upon completion of the rental period , new meter
readings will be taken and the client advised if any payment is
due. |

The
maximum number of people residing at the cottage must not exceed 5
adults + 2 children unless prior permission has been granted
by the Owners. |
| 8 |
The
Owners will provide bedding (quilt and pillows). Personal
towels and linen are not provided. You can rent linen - £10
per person. |
| 9 |
The
Owners operate a no smoking policy inside the cottage for the
comfort of future guests. Any guest disregarding this condition
will forfeit their security deposit. |
| 10 |
The
guest and their party agree to be considerate tenants and take
good care of the property and it’s contents, and leave it in a
clean and tidy condition at the end of their stay. The Owners
reserve the right to make a retention from the security deposit to cover cleaning costs if the guest leaves it in an
unacceptable condition. The guest also agrees not to act in any
way that might cause disturbance to neighbours. |

The
guest shall report to the Owners without delay any defects in the
property of breakdowns of failure of equipment of appliances. The
Owners will then be able to rectify these failures at the earliest
opportunity. |
| 12 |
Under no
circumstances shall the Owners liability exceed the amount paid to
the Owners for the rental period. |
| 13 |
Once the
Owners confirm the booking, these booking conditions form part of
the contract. |
| 14 |
Guests
are advised to take out adequate travel insurance.

| 15 |
The
Owners shall not be liable to the guest:- |

a |
For any temporary
defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the
property, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery, or
appliance in the property or gardens. |
| b |
For the loss, damage
or injury, which is the result of adverse weather conditions,
riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the
Owners. |
| c |
For the loss, damage
or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the guest if the
property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the
start of the rental period and in any such event the Owners shall
within seven days of notification to the guest refund all sums
paid. |
